2005

A single newborn increases the population of this location by 5 percent. A trip to the gore.

Jordan Rose Hall was born on this day in 2005. Her parents lived in Buel’s Gore and couldn’t wait to take her home.

Buel’s Gore is a triangular piece of property bordering Fayston and Starksboro to its east and west, while Huntington and Lincoln border on the north and south. Buel’s Gore is home to 21 people. The gore has never had a post office or an identifiable downtown. In fact, most of the town is mountainous terrain.

In 2005, the birth of Jordan Rose Hall marked a polulation increase of 5 percent. With statistics like this, it’s no wonder Buel’s Gore boasts the highest growth rate per capita in Vermont.

The Vermont Book Of Days image. We found singage Buel's Gore by filming its border with Fayston, Huntington, and Starksboro. We didn't find any other signage with Buel's Gore on it.
